Motorcycle Closeouts, LLC: Policies
We currently accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover issued by a United States bank. We do not accept international credit cards. You will need your credit card number, expiration date, CVV code (on the back) and the billing address when you place your order. To ensure maximum data security, phone orders cannot be accepted.
Buyers with a Seller Protected United States PayPal address may place orders using PayPal. Using e-Check’s will delay shipment of your order until PayPal notifies us the e-Check has cleared.
We only ship within the United States. Orders will not be shipped until we verify your billing address and credit card information. Typically orders are shipped on the same or next business day. We make every attempt to protect our customers and eliminate fraud. Some restrictions may apply. Note: Requesting your order be shipped to your credit card billing address or a Seller Protected PayPal address simplifies our verification process and will speed up order processing.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
There are several delivery options available. AK, HI, APO/FPO and PO Boxes must ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Surepost. Most other orders ship via UPS or UPS Surepost. Shipping outside the USA is not available. Shipping and handling rates are based on the total dollar amount of your order and are listed below.

Business Days are defined by UPS as Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Any order received after 10 AM Central Time may be delayed one business day.
Example 1: Premium order placed Wednesday before 10 AM, ships Wednesday, delivered Friday
Example 2: Premium order placed Wednesday after 10 AM, ships Thursday, delivered Monday
Example 3: Express order placed Monday before 10 AM is delivered Thursday or Friday
Example 4: Express order placed Monday after 10 AM is delivered Friday or Monday
Note: Express orders may be delivered in multiple shipments on different days.
Standard Shipping orders may be delayed a few days by inventory transfers used to minimize shipping costs.
Holiday Delays (12/10 - 12/24): Please allow an extra day or two for delivery during this busy time.
If you have questions regarding delivery options and estimated delivery dates, please e-mail us at email@example.com. We feel our shipping & handling charges are very fair. Don't forget that boxes and packaging material are far from free.
Orders will not be shipped outside the United States.
SHIPPING & HANDLING EXCEPTIONS
Heavy and/or oversized packages may require additional shipping and handling charges. We will contact you for approval in advance if this is the case.
Sorry no back orders. We don't want to charge you for an item that may take an extended period to arrive.
Many of our products are closeout items and therefore are subject to availability. Once a closeout item is gone, it’s gone, so don’t delay when ordering.
We make every effort to keep our inventory figures up to date, but sometimes our inventory or our supplier’s inventory may be off. If a product you purchased is no longer available when pulled for shipment, your credit card will not be charged. We will not ship a partial order without your approval.
If one or more matching apparel items, such as a jersey, gloves and pants set, are out of stock, we will contact you to discuss options before shipping your order. We will do our best to find a matching set of quality products for you.
NO GAMES! We do our best to bring you the lowest possible prices on closeout and newly released merchandise right up front. If you find a lower price on the same product somewhere let us know BEFORE you buy, and we’ll see if we can find a way to reduce our price for all our valued customers.
Occasionally everyone makes an honest mistake; therefore, we apologize in advance for any pricing errors caused by clerical mistakes and reserve the right to correct them. Because these are mistakes, we are not obligated to sell products at erroneous prices. Please let us know immediately if you think an item is mismarked.
All products, unless clearly designated as "Blemished," are brand new in their packaging, unused, first-quality products and carry the full factory warranty from the manufacturer. In general, if a product is defective, we will help you work with the manufacturer to resolve the problem. MotorcycleCloseouts, L.L.C. does not warrant any product we sell.
Many manufacturers prefer to work directly with the customer to resolve warranty claims. Manufacturers have the final say and will repair or replace an item at their discretion. If you feel you have a warranty claim feel free to contact us for help, but do not return defective products to us. All returns must be pre-authorized and have a return authorization number attached.
Blemished items are not covered by a manufacturer’s warranty and are sold “AS IS”. Blemished items will be clearly identified. Many of these products are not actually defective but are dirty, scratched or marred. Every effort will be made to describe and photograph all product defects or problems. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any blemished item in detail before purchasing it.
WRONG, DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, INCOMPLETE OR MISSING ITEMS – REPORT WITHIN 48 HOURS
If an item(s) you receive from us is wrong, damaged, defective, incomplete or missing you must notify us via e-mail at help@MotorcycleCloseouts.com within 48 hours of delivery with a detailed description of the issue. Please include pictures of the issue including tags with part numbers of the item. The total size of emails with pictures needs to be 9MB or less. Failure to do so constitutes your acceptance of the item as delivered.
RETURNS – 30 DAYS
You must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) before returning any items. Any items returned but not listed on the RA may be refused. Returns must be received at Motorcycle Closeouts within 30 days of original shipment to customer. Holiday Extension for items purchased after Thanksgiving: returns must be received by January 15th of the coming year.
WHAT IS ELIGIBLE TO RETURN
All items unless otherwise noted may be returned for Motorcycle Closeouts Store Credit (see Motorcycle Closeouts Store Credit section below) or a Refund less a Refund Processing Fee (see Refunds section below). Some items are not eligible for return including: eyewear, hats, do rags, balaclavas, undergarments, electronics, DVD’s, lighting, and any other items specifically excluded on our web site.
Only new, unworn items with their associated packaging, tags, documentation, etc. in their original, new, complete, clean, undamaged, unworn and re-sellable condition may be returned. Individually packaged helmet face shields must be unopened. When an item is not received in this condition, at our discretion we may refuse the item entirely or deduct cleaning, repackaging or other fees from your store credit or refund.
HOW TO OBTAIN A RETURN AUTHORIZATION
The RA must be requested and completed by the Billing Contact on the account used to purchase the items. The completed RA form must be shipped with your returned items.
To request an RA, login to your account, click "Manage Your Account", click “Order History/ Returns”, click “Request a Return Authorization” to the right of the order with the items you want to return. Select items you wish to return, then click “Continue to the Return Authorization Request Form”. Follow the instructions to complete your request for a Return Authorization.
Once the request is approved, your RA will be emailed to you. If you do not see this email, you can print the RA by logging in to your account, go to “Order History/ Returns”, click “RA #xxx Processing” to the right of your order number to display the RA. To print the RA form click “Printer Friendly” located in the upper right corner then print the RA form.
If Store Credit is selected, the Store Credit will post to the account used to purchase the items. If Refund is selected, the refund will post to the payment method used to make the original purchase.
PACKING AND SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
Write the RA number on the outside of the shipping box with a marker or you package may be refused. The completed RA form must be included in the box with the items you are returning. Ship only items listed on the RA as all other items will be refused.
We recommend you ship via UPS or FedEx with full insurance (do not pay for signature required as deliveries to a business require a signature). If you ship via United States Postal Service send with signature required.
All returned item(s) must be carefully and securely packed in a generic corrugated cardboard shipping box with the RA number written clearly on the outside of the box. Mailer envelopes may be used for small unbreakable items such as t-shirts or MX gloves. The manufacturer’s product packaging (helmet box, boot box, glove bag, etc.) is considered part of the product itself and does NOT constitute a proper shipping box.
Helmet Returns: Helmets require special care when shipping. Helmets must be inside their protective bag, shield closed, right-side-up in the manufacturer’s box with any and all supplied protective shipping material, including shield protector. The manufacturer’s box should then be placed inside a proper shipping box with protective padding, foam peanuts or packing paper to ensure a snug, secure fit. Helmets returned damaged or scuffed will be refused.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Shipping and handling charges are never refunded or credited, unless we shipped the wrong item.
PROCESSING YOUR RETURN
Please allow up to 14 days to process your RA after it has been delivered. It usually only takes a few days except during peak times. To check the status of your return go to Order History. If it no longer says "processing" next to the RA number is has been completed.
Refused items will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense and the item(s) will no longer be eligible for return. Return shipping and handling on refused items is $30.00 per item and must be paid by the customer via credit card or PayPal within 4 business days of notification. If the return shipping and handling is not paid within 4 business days, the customer will forfeit the item(s) and it will be thrown away.
MOTORCYCLE CLOSEOUTS STORE CREDIT – 365 – DAYS NOT REFUNDABLE
Store credit for use at Motorcycle Closeouts will be posted to your online account. To view your Store Credit total go to the bottom of Update Account Information. If you select Store Credit, your funds are no longer eligible for refund. Your Store Credit will expire and be deleted from our system after 1 year from the original date of purchase.
Because of the effort required to process a refund, we charge a modest refund processing fee of $10.00. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount. If you paid for your order or a part of your order with a Motorcycle Closeouts Store Credit, it is not eligible for refund.
Orders may be combined or changed for a $5.00 fee provided we receive your request before your order is processed. Orders are typically processed so quickly it is somewhat unlikely we will be able to catch it in time.
You may cancel your order for a $10.00 cancellation fee provided we receive your cancellation request within 30 minutes of placing your order. NO CANCELLATIONS after 30 minutes.
We do our best to secure all information on our web site. We will not sell or share any of your personal information without your permission. The only exception would be in the case of a drop shipment, where we would provide your name, phone number and mailing address to the shipper/distributor.
