Motorcycle Closeouts, LLC: Policies
We currently accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover issued by a United States bank. We do not accept international credit cards. You will need your credit card number, expiration date, CVV code (on the back) and the billing address where you receive your credit card statement when you place your order. To ensure maximum data security, phone orders cannot be accepted.
Verified buyers using CONFIRMED United States addresses may place orders using PayPal. Using e-Check’s will delay shipment of your order until PayPal notifies us the e-Check has cleared.
We only ship within the United States. Orders will not be shipped until we verify your billing address and credit card information. Typically orders are shipped on the same or next business day. We make every attempt to protect our customers and eliminate credit card fraud. Some restrictions may apply. Note: Requesting your order be shipped to your credit card billing address simplifies our verification process and will speed up order processing.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
There are a variety of delivery options available during checkout. AK, HI, APO/FPO and PO Boxes must ship via USPS Priority Mail. Most other orders ship via UPS. Shipping outside of the USA is not available. Shipping and handling rates are based on the total dollar amount of items purchased and are listed below.

Business Days are defined by UPS as Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Any order received after 10 AM Central Time may be delayed one business day.
Example 1: Premium order placed Wednesday before 10 AM, ships Wednesday, delivered Friday

Example 3: Express order placed Monday before 10 AM is delivered Thursday or Friday

Note: Express orders may be delivered in multiple shipments on different days.
Standard Shipping orders may be delayed a few days by inventory transfers used to minimize shipping costs.
Holiday Delays (12/10 - 12/24): Please allow an extra day or two for delivery during this very busy time.
Should you have any questions regarding delivery options and estimated delivery dates, please e-mail us at email@example.com. We feel our shipping & handling charges are very fair. Don't forget that boxes and packaging material are far from free.
Orders will not be shipped outside the United States.
International and Canadian orders cannot be accepted.
SHIPPING & HANDLING EXCEPTIONS
Heavy and/or oversized packages may require additional shipping and handling charges. We will contact you for approval in advance if this is the case.
Sorry no back orders. We would hate to charge you then keep you waiting for an item that may take forever to arrive.
Many of our products are closeout items and therefore are subject to availability. Once a closeout item is gone, it’s gone, so don’t delay when ordering.
We make every effort to keep our inventory figures up to date, but sometimes our inventory or our supplier’s inventory can be off slightly. If a product you purchased is no longer available when pulled for shipment, your credit card will not be charged. We will not ship a partial order without your approval.
If one or more matching apparel items, such as a jersey, gloves and pants set, are out of stock, we will contact you to discuss possible substitute items before shipping your order. We will do our best to find a matching set of quality products for you.
NO GAMES! We do our best to bring you the lowest possible prices on closeout and newly released merchandise right up front. We don't start with a high price and make you negotiate or ask for a price match to get a good deal. If you find a lower price on the same product somewhere let us know BEFORE you buy, and we’ll see if we can find a way to reduce our price for all our valued customers.
Occasionally everyone makes an honest mistake; therefore, we apologize in advance for any pricing errors caused by typographical or clerical mistakes and reserve the right to correct them. Because these are honest mistakes, we are not obligated to sell products at erroneous prices. Please let us know immediately if you think an item is mismarked.
All products, unless clearly designated as "Blemished," are brand new in their packaging, unused, first-quality products and carry the full factory warranty from the manufacturer. In general, if a product is defective, we will help you work with the manufacturer to resolve the problem. MotorcycleCloseouts, L.L.C. does not warrant any product we sell in any way, but we aren’t happy unless you are happy.
Most manufacturers now prefer to work directly with the customer to resolve warranty claims. Manufacturers have the final say and will repair or replace an item at their discretion. If you feel you have a legitimate warranty claim please feel free to contact us for help, but do not return defective products to us. All returns must be pre-authorized and have a return authorization number attached.
Blemished items are not usually covered by a manufacturer’s warranty and are sold “AS IS”. If we have any, blemished items will be clearly identified. Many of these products are not actually defective but are dirty, scratched or marred. Every effort will be made to describe and photograph all product defects or problems. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any blemished item in detail before purchasing it.
There are absolutely NO REFUNDS on these one-of-a-kind items. If available, upgrades to a similar, more expensive, blemished or unblemished item will be permitted if the customer pays the price difference and shipping & handling both ways. Returns will not be accepted without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION and are subject to the return policy as described below.
DAMAGED PACKAGE – IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED
If an item(s) you receive from us is wrong, damaged, defective, incomplete or missing you must notify us via e-mail at help@MotorcycleCloseouts.com within 48 hours of delivery with a detailed description of the issue. Please include pictures of the issue including tags with part numbers of the item. The total size of emails with pictures needs to be 9MB or less. Failure to do so constitutes your acceptance of the item as delivered.
WRONG, DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, INCOMPLETE OR MISSING ITEMS – 48 HOURS
If an item(s) you receive from us is wrong, damaged, defective, incomplete or missing you must notify us via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery with a detailed description of the problem. Failure to do so constitutes your acceptance of the item as delivered.
RETURNS – 30 DAYS
You must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) before returning any items. Any items returned but not listed on the RA may be refused. Returns must be received at Motorcycle Closeouts within 30 days of original shipment to customer. Holiday Extension for items purchased after Thanksgiving: returns must be received by January 15th of the coming year.
WHAT IS ELIGIBLE TO RETURN
Closeout, discontinued and current items can be returned for Motorcycle Closeouts Store Credit (see Motorcycle Closeouts Store Credit section below) or a Refund (see Refunds section below); however, all refunds are subject to a Refund Processing Fee. Some items are not eligible for return including: eyewear, hats, do rags, balaclavas, undergarments, electronics, DVD’s, lighting, and any other items specifically excluded on our web site.
Only new, unworn items with their associated packaging, tags, documentation, etc. in their original, new, complete, clean, undamaged, unworn and re-sellable condition may be returned. Individually packaged helmet face shields must be unopened. When an item is not received in this condition, at our discretion we may refuse the item entirely or deduct cleaning, repackaging or other fees up to 20% of the price of the item from your store credit or refund.
HOW TO OBTAIN A RETURN AUTHORIZATION
To request an RA, login to your account and under "Manage Your Account" click on the link “Order History/ Returns.” Next, click “Request a Return Authorization” on the right side of the page, to the right of your order number, under the Returns column. Select the items you wish to return, and then click the “Continue to the Return Authorization Request Form” button. Follow the simple online instructions to complete your request for a Return Authorization.
Once this request is approved, your RA will be sent to the email address on your account. If you do not see this email, you can also access the RA online by logging in to your account, click on the “Order History/ Returns” link located under “Manage Your Account.” Click the link to the right of your order number “RA #xxx Processing.” Once the RA is displayed, click on the “Printer Friendly” link located in the upper right hand corner of the page to access and print your RA.
Please be aware, the RA must be requested and completed by the Billing Contact on the account used to purchase the items. The completed RA form must be shipped with your returned items.
If Store Credit is selected, the Store Credit will post to the account used to purchase the items. If Refund is selected, the refund will post to the payment method used to make the original purchase.
PACKING AND SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
The completed RA form must be included in the box with the items you are returning. Ship only items listed on the RA as all other items will be refused. Be sure to write the RA number on the outside of the shipping box.
For your protection we recommend you ship your returns via UPS or FedEx with full insurance (you do not need to send signature required as deliveries to a business require a signature). Return shipments via United States Postal Service MUST be sent signature required or they may be refused.
All returned item(s) must be carefully and securely packed in a generic corrugated cardboard shipping box with the RA number written clearly on the outside of the box. Mailer envelopes may be used for small unbreakable items such as t-shirts or MX gloves. The manufacturer’s product packaging (helmet box, boot box, glove bag, etc.) is considered part of the product itself and does NOT constitute a proper shipping box.
Helmet Returns: Helmets are delicate and require special care when shipping. Helmets must be inside their protective bag, shield closed, right-side-up in the manufacturer’s box with any and all supplied protective shipping material, including shield protector. The manufacturer’s box should then be placed inside a proper shipping box with protective padding, foam peanuts or packing paper to ensure a snug, secure fit. Helmets returned damaged or scuffed will be refused.
Shipping and handling charges are never refunded or credited to your Motorcycle Closeouts account. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless we shipped the wrong item.
Returns without the RA# on the label will be refused.
PROCESSING YOUR RETURN
Please allow us up to 14 days to process your return after it has been delivered to us. Watch for e-mail notification your return has been processed.
Refused items will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense and the item(s) will no longer be eligible for return. Return shipping and handling on refused items is $20.00 per item and must be paid by the customer via credit card or PayPal within 14 days of notification. If the return shipping and handling is not paid within 14 days, the customer will forfeit the item(s) and it will be donated to the charity of our choice.
MOTORCYCLE CLOSEOUTS STORE CREDIT – 365 – DAYS NOT REFUNDABLE
Store credit for use at Motorcycle Closeouts will be posted to your online account and you will be notified via email. If you select to receive a Motorcycle Closeouts store credit, your funds are no longer eligible for refund to your credit card or PayPal account. Your store credit will expire and be deleted from our system after 1 year from the original date of purchase.
Because of the effort required to process a refund, we charge a modest refund processing fee of 10% or $10.00, whichever is greater. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount. If you paid for your order or a part of your order with a Motorcycle Closeouts Store Credit, it is not eligible for refund to your credit card or PayPal account.
Orders may be combined or changed for a $5.00 fee provided we receive and process your request before your order has entered the shipping process. Orders typically enter the shipping process so quickly it is somewhat unlikely we will be able to catch it in time.
You may cancel your order for a $10.00 cancellation fee provided we receive and process your cancellation request before your order is processed. Orders typically are processed so quickly it is somewhat unlikely we will be able to cancel your order. If this is the case, your order will become a return.
We do our best to secure all information on our web site. We will not sell or share any of your personal information without your permission. The only exception would be in the case of a drop shipment, where we would provide your name, phone number and mailing address to the shipper/distributor.
