• Arai's exclusive CLC (Complex Laminate Construction) shell. This fiberglass composite is stronger and lighter than previous constructions. Its exceptional characteristics allow Arai to use softer, less-dense liner materials inside for increased rider comfort.
• Enhanced “Organic” shell shape has a more natural appearance, seals better, and conforms more to the head’s natural shape for improved comfort, fit, and to help minimize wind turbulence.
• High-flow peak channels air directly into the font vents

• Dual Intake / Dual Exhaust Ventilation - I/C and I/C-2 intakes provide more directed airflow. Advanced DDL "Double Delta" and DDL-2 bridged exhaust vents are designed to draw a significant volume of air from the helmet interior. (The best way to cool a helmet interior is to pull more hot air out.) (NOTE: Vent style varies between models.
• Efficient chinbar vent (with interior and exterior controls) flows fresh air to the mouth area or across the shield interior to help prevent fogging
• Large chinbar side exhaust vents draw out additional hot air
• Rear Exhaust Channel And Vent adds a racy look while drawing more hot air out from the helmet interior.

• Twin-cam Shield Pivot System allows the face shield to operate fully under a peak that can be lowered for better aerodynamics. Can be configured with shield and peak, peak only (for use with goggles) or shield only.
• Arai's Optically-Correct Pre-Formed Faceshields give better vision and UV ray protection, with less distortion. Available in Clear, Light Tint, Dark Tint - and High Definition Yellow and new Iridium in some models.

• The Dry-Cool® liner utilizes micro water cells to improve moisture and heat transfer from your head into the airflow around Arai’s exclusive Space Frame Liner, leaving your head dryer and cooler.
• Removable/Replaceable Cheek Pads - an advancement first brought to you by Arai - give you a more custom fit and comfort by allowing you to replace standard pads with optional sizes closer to your individual facial contour. (The Earcups in open-face and MXC models offer the same benefits.)
• Arai's plush Removable/Washable Interior fabric is easily cleaned to provide a fresh helmet whenever you desire. All Arai interiors are washable.

Arai's Disclaimer: Maybe this is common sense, but because of the world we live in and Arai's lawyers say that this needs to be said - "The peak/visor supplied is not suitable for high-speed use where air striking a side or main surface of the peak may cause difficulty in returning the head to a forward and/or level position. To understand and prepare for this possible effect, you should first try to experience it at low speeds, gradually increasing speed so that you will know what to expect and determine when the peak should be removed for higher-speed riding.
